Find that Valentine Gift Husband Would Love

Finding a valentine gift husband would love is certainly difficult, especially if you’ve been married for quite some time.  I mean, what other new things could you give to a husband whom you’ve been married to for the past 7 years?  A silk tie?  You’ve given that on his birthday.  Wallet?  His promotion.  Underwear?  Last year’s Valentine’s.  And the list just goes on and on.  It is indeed very difficult to find your husband a valentine’s gift that you’ve never given before, and at the same time still reflects your deep feelings for him.

So, how exactly do you look for that perfect valentine gift husband of yours would love?  Just read along this article and find out some valentine gift suggestions that you could try with your husband.

Hobbies and Interests

Of course, what you can do is consider his hobbies and interests.  Instead of giving him a general gift like socks or underwear, why don’t you give him something that he can use for his hobby?  And, this should be easier for you, since after all, you know your husband best.

If your husband is a collector, give him the coin he’s been after or give him a new metal detector.  If he’s into fishing, why not give him a new fishing pole?

Is your husband into music?  No problem.  Buy him a new instrument or get him guitar or drum lessons.  You can also buy him a new iPod or headphones, so he can tune in to his favorite music.  Get him CDs of his favorite band or artist.

If your husband is into movies, then you can get him DVDs of his favorite movie, or TV show series.  For it to be more sentimental, you can even buy old movies or his favorite TV show series when he was younger.  It will surely bring back memories and create new ones, this time with you.  You can also buy him a new surround sound system.

If he’s into adventure, then you can get him plane tickets to a far away place.  Also, you can get him the latest sports gear and equipment.  You can buy him a GPS and camera too.

If sports is his thing, you can get tickets to a sporting event, or buy him a new set of golf clubs, or a sports memorabilia (think baseballs with his favorite team logo on them).

Businessman type?  Get him a new briefcase, or the latest gadget that will help him conduct business better.  A new laptop, mobile phone, or PDA will do.

If your husband enjoys good food, then get him a gourmet gift basket with the finest cheese, wine, coffee, teas, and chocolates.

“Do something” instead of “give something”

To make your Valentine’s Day more memorable, why don’t you do something together with your husband.  Go for a night out and spend dinner in some five-star restaurant and have a five-course meal.  Or, you could go chug down beer and eat pizza in your favorite hangout, just like when you were younger.

You could also treat him to a massage or spa treatment.  Better yet, you can buy sexy new lingerie for yourself and go naughty!  Now that’s one thing you can do together and enjoy.  You can even get sensual massage oils and candles to complete the mood.

Go homemade

You can always get him something that you made by yourself.  If you’re quite crafty, you can create a scrapbook using your favorite memorabilia like pictures and knickknacks.  You can include information or some items from your first date, first movie together, and a list of other firsts.

In the end, it’s always the thought that counts.  Don’t forget that love is still the best valentine gift husband would truly appreciate.
